All Office Sales Associates are based out of our main office in Rolling Meadows, Illinois and offering nationwide coverage with national and regional buying offices and Co-op Hardware groups.

Fred Cimaglio

Chairman of the Board

As Chairman of the TMA Board of Directors and Founder of Total Marketing, Fred is the leader of the company. Along with the sales and management team—short and long-range planning programs and goals are formulated to ensure continued growth. Coordinating program development from America’s leading Lawn & Garden producers to presentation and implementation is a task that Fred has enjoyed since entering the Lawn & Garden Industry in 1966.

Kim Cimaglio

President

As President, Kim’s current focus is to lead our company into the future and assist in Sales Growth today and into the future.

An Associate since 1994, over the years Kim has played a key role in day-to-day operations as Sales Manager, COO and now CEO as of 2017. Kim brings a high motivational attitude and wealth of experience to her position to make sure our Management, Sales and Support teams are providing the best to the manufacturers we represent and the customers we serve.

Kim is a hands on leader, who travels to new and current customers, to assist in Sales Growth. We strive to succeed in all we do.

Tom Peel

Senior Vice President, Sales

As Partner and Senior Vice President of Sales, Tom’s responsibilities include management of national accounts, Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, True Value and Walgreens.

Tom works on negotiations with new and existing manufacturers and plays a key role in program development and line reviews.

Tom holds a B.A. in Business and Marketing and has earned a Master’s Degree in Management. Tom’s career in the Lawn & Garden Industry began on the Manufacturing side, with sales/management positions at HD Hudson and Gilbert and Bennett.

Tom joined Total Marketing in 1995.

Ken LaBuda

Executive Vice President

Executive Vice President and Partner in Total Marketing since 1978, Ken leads and coordinates sales and retail support activities.

As a former Buyer, Ken knows the value of a well constructed program and the full support necessary to implement it. He has designed many of the Total Marketing Creative Merchandising concepts. His support to our Team, our Manufacturers and our Customers continues to play a crucial role in our future growth.

Ken holds a B.A. in Business Management.

Ryan Fagan

My passion for the hardware industry started at a small Ace Hardware store in Chicago at 15 years old.

After graduating from St. Norbert College in Green Bay, WI, I came back home and started working at the Ace Hardware Corporate office in Oak Brook, IL as an Import Inventory Analyst. Soon after, I was promoted to Lawn and Garden buyer and held multiple buying positions throughout my 10 years at Ace. I gained a wealth of knowledge about the hardware industry during my time at Ace and after ten years I felt it was time to transition to the sales side.

I joined Total Marketing in 2014 as Director of National Accounts.

Tom Dahlborn

Vice President,
IT & Marketing

A graduate of the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Marketing. Tom coordinates all marketing functions, including: projects; online portals; quotations; programming : EDI with vendors: trade show preparation. Tom is also working closely with Groaccess Communications, our outsource customer service and small package fulfillment division.

Jim Scalzo

Creative Director

Jim brings a wealth of creative agency and marketing experience to his position as Creative Director for our company. Responsible for managing our creative effort, Jim’s years building a marketing and creative department at Handi-Foil Corp., as well as his tenure as Art Director at Jordan Miller & Associates, serve him and our creative team well. Our creative effort is a tremendous resource to our sales team, manufacturers and customers we serve including everything from package design, to point of sale materials, advertising, trade show, and B2B plus consumer products marketing.

Ed Klevin

Marketing Manager

Working in various Marketing Department capacities since 1997, Ed brings an added dimension to the Marketing Team. Responsible for online portals, sales, sales support, trade show preparation and onsite management.

Lawrence Mulcahy

Marketing Coordinator

Lawrence’s undergraduate degree in Finance and M.B.A in Marketing serve him well in his dual role here at Total Marketing Associates.

Lawrence spends half of his time in our Marketing Department, where he works behind the scenes in support of our trade show efforts. Lawrence spends the other half of his time in our Finance Department, where he manages the income and expenses of the agency.

Lawrence joined us in 2012.
